Why stay at an Airbnb in Ireland
Renting an Airbnb is one of our favorite ways to get to know a new place, as well as to further immerse ourselves in places we’ve been before. Ireland has tons of Airbnbs ranging from modern luxury to cozy and rustic. Plus, they offer experiences you won’t get in a hotel:
- Get off the typical tourist track and experience the country from a local’s point of view
- Stay in a location outside of the major hotel areas – exploring the countryside was one of our favorite things to do in Ireland!
- Enjoy comforts of home, such as a stocked kitchen or laundry facilities
- Find a place big enough for families or larger groups
- Read about why we prefer Airbnbs over hotels when traveling with a baby
- Save money on longer stays or by cooking your own meals
- Choose unique accommodations, like a cozy treehouse, a converted Victorian stable, or an actual real-life castle
Psst! Is this your first time considering staying in an Airbnb? We put together an entire article on how to book an Airbnb, from setting up your profile to exactly which filters we use to guarantee we always have a great experience.
